Waka Flocka Flame has announced that his first biological child is on the way and shared the baby’s name. For years, the “No Hands” hitmaker has been a devoted stepfather to his ex-wife Tammy Rivera’s daughter, Charlie.

Waka Flocka Flame is preparing to welcome his first biological child, a baby boy, and plans to name him.
Born Juaquin James Malphurs, the rapper revealed the news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself holding a big wooden “J” engraved with “Juaquin Jr.” He also gushed about holding and smelling his newborn boy.
“Just waiting for you to come home Jr. Best gift a man could ever ask for,” the caption read.
According to The Shade Room, he shared the news on his 40th birthday and was met with love from fans celebrating this next chapter. It’s a major milestone for the “Game On” singer, who has always embraced being a father figure in his personal life.
“Awww charlie has a sibling. Congratulations,” commented a fan. “THIS IS THE BEST NEWS TODAYYYYY!!!!!!” echoed rapper Anycia. “Congratulations! @wakaflocka you deserve this….you’re already an awesome girl dad,” wrote yet another fan. “Boss Baby coming!! Can’t wait for the bundle of LOVE, JOY AND SMELLS. OMGGGG!” gushed a well-wisher.
Throughout his marriage to reality star Tammy Rivera, he helped raise her daughter, Charlie, and built a close bond with her. In 2021, Charlie asked him to adopt her in front of fans, highlighting the bond they’d built over time.
On Carlos King’s Reality With the King podcast last December, Rivera looked back on her marriage to the rapper. They tied the knot on May 25, 2014, and finalized their divorce in 2022 after eight years of marriage. She said that even though it ended, they kept their friendship intact.
Rivera described Waka Flocka Flame as someone searching for his identity while they were together, which put strain on their marriage over time. Though they faced challenges, including infidelity, Rivera said that mutual respect kept them on good terms.
