Donald Trump’s Latest Move Leaves Joe Rogan Stunned: ‘Crazy’

Joe Rogan has mocked the Department of Justice over excusing Donald Trump and his family from IRS audits on past tax returns. The podcaster called it “crazy” during Monday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, which also featured comedian Tom Segura. This was in relation to the $10 billion lawsuit that the president and his family filed against the IRS in January.

Joe Rogan mocked the Department of Justice over excusing Donald Trump and his family from IRS audits on past tax returns in the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. He said, “That is so crazy,” in the episode that also featured comedian Tom Segura.

Rogan’s reaction was to the settlement reached through the DOJ for a $10 billion lawsuit that Trump, his children, and the Trump Organization filed against the IRS earlier this year. The lawsuit was based on a leak of the president’s tax records to news outlets during his first term. The DOJ promised that the federal government would not investigate potential claims against Trump or his family over the unpaid taxes, according to a document signed by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.

The one-page document in question stated that the IRS is “forever barred and precluded” from pursuing “examinations” into Donald Trump and “related or affiliated individuals.”

“Imagine somebody accused you of murder. And it turns out you weren’t guilty of that murder, and then you sue them, and you go, ‘You can never prosecute me for murder again.’” Rogan said of the deal, “And then you just go straight Uday Hussein,” referencing late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s eldest son, who was accused of being even more ruthless.

Joe Rogan has been friendly to Donald Trump in the past. However, the podcaster has opposed the president several times over various issues, including immigration crackdown, the Epstein files, and the USA’s war against Iran.
