The new TV and movie releases on Netflix for this week (June 1 – June 7, 2026) include a legendary sports drama film series led by Sylvester Stallone.
The Rocky films follow the life of boxer Rocky Balboa, played by Stallone. Rocky’s story spans across six movies and has gone on to attain cult status. Also coming to Netflix is Rocky’s sequel film franchise titled Creed, which has three installments. They follow Adonis Creed, played by Michael B. Jordan, with Stallone’s Rocky as his trainer in the first two movies. The movies drew a combined box office revenue of roughly $1.2 billion.
