A newly surfaced leak indicates that a Lego x Cities: Skylines game is on the way. The rumor has sparked excitement across both building communities. Fans are already speculating what the gameplay would look like.
LEGO and Cities: Skyline collaborating for new game, leak suggests
A recent leak suggests that Lego and Cities: Skylines may be collaborating on a brand-new game ahead of Summer Game Fest 2026. The potential partnership would bring together Lego’s iconic brick-building creativity and the deep city-management systems that Cities: Skylines is known for.
According to Korea’s rating board, the title is Lego Skylines, an unexpected crossover developed in collaboration with Cities: Skylines that will mark the next entry in the Lego franchise.
The board appears to have leaked Lego Skylines by posting a rating for the game ahead of schedule. Since the title has not been formally announced, little is known about the project.
The crossover was further supported when Korea’s rating board listed Paradox Interactive as the developer of the upcoming title. Paradox is also the studio behind the Cities series, which strongly indicates the nature of the collaboration. Unfortunately, the full rating was not included in the leak, so no additional details about gameplay features are available yet.
Cities: Skylines debuted in 2015 and quickly became a standout city-building simulation. Though the series is well-loved, it only received a sequel with Cities: Skylines II in 2023. Paired with Lego’s iconic brick-building mechanics, the leaked project feels like a natural crossover.
Several other games appeared in Korea’s Rating Board leak, notably the long-awaited Persona 4 Revival. Announced back in 2025, the remake has gone quiet since. With rumors of a June 7 reveal at the Xbox Game Showcase, this leak implies the game is nearing release.
The other titles that received early ratings from Korea’s Rating Board include LEGO Skylines, Once Human, Orbitals, Fortnite (Endgame), Gears of War: E-Day, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
Summer Game Fest 2026, running June 5 through June 8, will likely feature many of these games.
