She said his momentary sleeping should not always be attributed to a health condition, as lack of sleep can also lead to such situations. These comments came a month after Kelly criticized the president for not being a good husband while discussing his marriage to Melania Trump.

Megyn Kelly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her take on Donald Trump’s sleeping behavior on various occasions, defending that it could be because he might be tired and didn’t get enough sleep. “I love how Trump occasionally nodding off has got to be some secret, scary medical issue (obviously they’re raising his fitness for office),” she said, referring to how one shouldn’t jump to health conclusions. She added, “Maybe it’s just that he doesn’t sleep much at night and these events are … kinda long/dry/not that scintillating?”
These remarks come after Kelly made some bold claims about Trump’s marriage on her show. She slammed his personality traits and how he cannot be a good husband. “There are aspects of his personality which are obviously not good and that we’ve mostly just chosen to overlook. You know, he’s not a moral man. He’s obviously not the greatest husband in the world. And he’s extremely petty and thin-skinned,” she elaborated.
Moreover, the journalist and political commentator also reflected on how there are people, including her and Tucker Carlson, who have gotten into conflicts with Trump but have loved him for years. Sharing on why some loyal supporters backed him, she explained, “But who fought harder than a lot of others during the law fair against him to make sure people knew that it was bulls**t, stood up for him during the actual electoral contest to make sure people understood what was at stake and why he had to be the choice.”
However, she expressed disappointment in how one can never expect the same amount of loyalty from him. This is because he reportedly perceives those who disagree with him as “enemy.”
