Drew Carey Unloads on Spencer Pratt With Explicit Remark

Comedian and game show host Drew Carey tore into former reality TV personality Spencer Pratt, who is a Los Angeles mayoral candidate this year. The comedian took to his Threads account to criticize the former TV personality, calling him a “serial scammer.” Pratt responded to Carey’s comments by pointing out that the latter was named in the Epstein files.

Drew Carey calls out Spencer Pratt amid LA mayor election

Drew Carey called out former reality TV personality Spencer Pratt, who is running for Los Angeles mayor this year. Like many other actors and creatives, Carey also expressed his concern over Pratt’s election campaign.

“I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. F*ck this guy already,” Carey wrote about Pratt on his Threads account.

In response to Carey’s taunt, Pratt pointed out that Carey was named in the Epstein files. “Isn’t it weird how the two comedians histrionically lashing out against me are both in the ‘Epstein files’? What are the odds?” he wrote on X.

Carey or his representatives have not yet responded to Pratt’s accusation.

Spencer Pratt announced his run for the mayor of Los Angeles about one year after his home burned down during the 2025 Pacific Palisades fire. His house burning down has also been a recurring theme in his campaign. Pratt’s campaign website notes that “crisis leadership and emergency readiness” and homelessness are the major issues his government plans to address.

Many prominent Republicans, including President Donald Trump, have endorsed Spencer Pratt’s run.

However, many have also advocated against voting for Pratt, including his sister, Stephanie Pratt. “Spencer has done great work for the palisades. But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity,” Stephanie wrote on her X (via THR).

“He’s just trying to stay famous and sell his memoir don’t be fooled. In an ideal world the palisades would have their own mayor and police department. I would love him to be mayor of Palisades but not LA with 4 million people. I’d be impressed if a republican could turn LA democrats thb,” she added.
