Peacock’s highly popular show is returning for Season 8 next week. It is a TV-MA-rated reality dating show in which singles live together in a luxury villa, form couples, and compete for the ultimate cash prize.

Love Island USA Season 8 begins streaming exclusively on Peacock from Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Although the new season is so close to its premiere, this year’s cast is still under wraps. The streamer is expected to announce more details in the days leading up to the season premiere. This is a common pattern with Peacock. For example, the streaming giant announced the cast of Season 7 just under a week before the season premiered.
Love Island USA is the American version of the U.K. reality dating show of the same name. Bravo alum Ariana Madix hosts the show. It centers on a group of contestants, commonly referred to as “Islanders.” They live together in a luxurious villa in Fiji and must survive the competition by forming romantic relationships.
As the season progresses, the Islanders are faced with the choice to either be with the same partner or move on to someone else. As a couple, they compete in various challenges to win special rewards and advantages.
Throughout the season, Love Island USA also features elimination rounds. In it, an Islander is eliminated based on various factors, including public voting or being left single after the recoupling ceremony. In the final week, the couple with the highest votes wins a chance to take home $100,000. However, one partner is randomly given the choice to either split the money with their partner or keep it all for themselves.
Last year, Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales won Love Island USA Season 7. Ultimately, Arenales chose to split the $100,000 prize with Espinal.
