It has outperformed movies such as Regretting You, Despicable Me 4, Mechanic: Resurrection, and The Equalizer. The film also secured the second position on Amazon Prime Video’s overall Top 10 chart in the United States the same day.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War premiered globally on Amazon Prime Video on May 20, 2026. The action thriller was directed by Andrew Bernstein and written by Aaron Rabin alongside franchise star Krasinski. The story follows Jack Ryan after a covert operation exposes a dangerous conspiracy connected to a rogue black-ops organization.

As the situation escalates, Ryan and his allies discover they are being hunted by enemies with detailed knowledge of their intelligence network, forcing the team into a high-risk international mission. Ryan reunites with experienced CIA operatives James Greer and Mike November as the group works to uncover the source of the attacks before the crisis spirals further out of control.

Starring alongside Krasinski, the film’s supporting cast includes Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, and Max Beesley as Liam Crown.

Although the film has performed strongly on streaming since its release, its critical reception has been mixed. The movie currently holds a 48 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 29 reviews. Meanwhile, the audience rating currently stands at 47 percent.
