Ashley St. Clair, Elon Musk‘s ex, shared why she decided to have a baby with the Tesla CEO and how their dynamic changed completely after the birth. This comes over a year after Ashley had her son with Musk. In the new TikTok video, the influencer, author, and political commentator pulled back the curtain on her love life with the richest man on the planet.
Ashley St. Clair makes bold claims about Elon Musk
Ashley St. Clair revealed details about her relationship with tech billionaire Elon Musk in a May 15 TikTok video. The influencer grew closer to Musk in 2023. In September 2024, she welcomed a son with him.
In the new video, St. Clair sheds light on her decision to have the baby and the changes that have followed the child’s birth.
“At that point in my life, because I’m involved in MAGA and the right wing and I’m already a single mom,” St. Clair began, “the chances of me getting married and the white picket fence and the white dress, I believed that was out the window for me because I was already ‘stained’ as a single mom. But I wanted nothing more than to be a mom. I wanted more kids.”
She also has a child from a previous relationship.
“It’s difficult working and having to wonder if you’re going to be able to pay the bills for your kids next month,” she said. She noted that her biggest concern about having more children was economic stability, “So, when Elon was like, ‘You should have kids, my only limited resource is time,’ of course, it is appealing to do what I always wanted to—be a mom and not have to worry about the s–t going on in this economy.”
“I don’t think that’s crazy reasoning,” she said.
However, the dynamic between her and Musk changed right after she got pregnant. “But as soon as I’m pregnant…this is when things start getting weird,” she said. “No one’s going to believe me, but I swear he was so much more normal before I got pregnant.”
She continued, “It was a very normal conversation. His demeanor was normal.” Ashley St. Clair added that she anticipated roasts directed towards her. Nevertheless, she mentioned that Musk “was funny.” Then, she stated, “He just got so f***king weird, man.”
She also admitted that she was apprehensive about navigating a co-parenting relationship with Musk, who already has multiple other children.
“I’m realizing that I have to keep my head on a swivel and protect myself,” she added. “It’s not even like I want some exclusivity with him. I just don’t want to be in this weird-a** position.”
Elon Musk has not yet commented on this (via E! News).
