A report by the National Examiner suggests that Prince William and Kate Middleton could be at risk of a downfall caused by a royal rival. That rival is none other than Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The former Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles and honors last year amid various controversies surrounding him. He was also reportedly asked to leave Royal Lodge on the orders of King Charles.
According to a source, all of this has left him feeling very “bitter and angry.” The source added, “Instead of making an effort to pick up the pieces, he’s become obsessed with trying to ruin the people he sees as the architects of his downfall.”
The source also claimed that the Princess of Wales was among the first to distance herself from Andrew after his name surfaced in multiple controversies. She reportedly stopped paying attention to him at royal functions. Moreover, she did not hesitate to show that she had no interest in speaking with him. Meanwhile, William reportedly shared similar feelings and was said to be “openly disdainful of Andrew.” This has allegedly angered Andrew even further. As per the source, he has “vowed to spend the next several years making life miserable for them however he can.”
The source also revealed that he still talks to some people from inside the palace. They provide him with a lot of information.
