Ex-Prince Andrew Didn’t Get an Invite to Nephew’s Upcoming Wedding — Report

Ex-Prince Andrew’s nephew, Peter Phillips, is tying the knot next month, and his uncle reportedly did not receive an invitation to the Gloucestershire wedding ceremony. This turns out to be yet another cold shoulder Andrew is getting from the royal family following the Epstein scandal.

Report claims ex-Prince Andrew didn’t receive an invitation to nephew Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding

The Daily Mail reported that, among all royals attending Peter Phillips’ wedding, the royal nephew did not write down ex-Prince Andrew’s name on the invitation card.

The wedding will take place on June 6 at All Saints Church in Kemble, which is a stone’s throw from Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate, where the couple lives. As for the guest list, it is reportedly full of senior royals.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend, while Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will also be there, along with Prince William and Kate Middleton. Moreover, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh received an invitation, as did Zara and Mike Tindall.

Sources told the outlet that the ceremony will be deeply personal. They added that the bride and groom wanted a day free of distraction. Thus, they allegedly did not think an invitation for Andrew made any sense, especially after the scandal cost him his titles and public role.

Phillips announced his engagement to Harriet Sperling — a 45-year-old NHS paediatric nurse — last August after dating since early 2024. They live together on the Gatcombe estate and wanted a simple village church wedding, which is reportedly a deliberate swerve from Phillips’ high-profile 2008 marriage to Autumn Kelly.

Sperling has a daughter — 13-year-old Georgia — and Phillips has 15-year-old Savannah, as well as 13-year-old Isla, from his first marriage. The bride-to-be has reportedly already been welcomed into the royal family — she rode in a carriage with the king at Royal Ascot last summer, laughing beside him as the cameras clicked.

In addition, her engagement ring carries a sweet nod to the late queen, crafted by the same jeweller who made Queen Elizabeth II’s ring in 1946.
