Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen, who got married in 2008, have now parted ways after 18 years of marriage. The news came to light after their rep shared the news to PEOPLE on Thursday, May 14, confirming that stars have separated, but remain on “great terms.”
The source close to the pair also told the outlet, “They are very much connected,” adding that “they will remain on excellent terms.” The individual further stated that the exes are now focused on co-parenting their two sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12.
And it seems true, as despite the separation, Biggs and Mollen “are doing great” as they spent the actor’s 48th birthday together as a family on Tuesday, May 12. The former flames first met on the set of the 2008 movie, “My Best Friend’s Girl,” and got engaged in January 2008 before eloping in a private ceremony that April. Later, in July 2008, they exchanged vows for the second time at a ceremony in Napa, California, in front of 40 guests.
Over the years, the duo has given an insight into their married life. In 2018, the “Crazy, Stupid, Love” actress shared her advice on maintaining a healthy relationship with her partner, telling BUILD Series, “We’ve been in couples therapy since we met, but I would say just wanting it to work is huge.” Mollen added at the time, “You have to really want it. If you don’t care, it’s so easy to get divorced. So easy. So you have to really be motivated.”
