He recently hosted an Avengers-style episode with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver. It was here that he made the confession.

Stephen Colbert revealed he was attracted to Michelle Williams. He told this to Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver when they recently reunited for a Strike Force Five episode. Colbert was asked if he ever had to interview a guest who “was so attractive” that he found it “distracting” (via Entertainment Weekly).
Colbert revealed, “I’ll tell you who I did not expect to be wildly attracted to. I didn’t know what to do with myself. I like this person’s work, but I never thought of them as like a bombshell.”
He added, “I could not— I didn’t know what to do with my eyeballs when Michelle Williams was on for the first time.” Expanding further upon his attraction, Colbert recalled, “She sat down across from me and I went, ‘Oh f**k, what is wrong with my head? I’d better not look directly at her for this entire interview.’ There was something about her vibe, her face, everything. She’s so beautiful.”
Williams first guested on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2016 to promote the Broadway show Blackbird. Since then, the Blue Valentine star has appeared on the show several times. Her last appearance was in April 2025 to promote her award-winning series Dying for Sex. At the time, Colbert recited some poetry to honor Williams’ show, leaving her touched by his gesture.
Moreover, Colbert also confessed he was enchanted by Rachel Weisz, but he has “recovered” now. He also named the attractive Andrew Garfield and recounted the time the two shared a kiss on the show.
Interestingly, Colbert shared a kiss with fellow talk show host Fallon on the show as well. The audience clapped and cheered loudly as Fallon fanned himself furiously after the kiss (via Entertainment Weekly).
