Candace Owens Calls Donald Trump ‘Grandpa’ After His ‘Nut Job’ Post

Candace Owens, along with many other leaders of the America First movement, hit out at President Donald Trump after the 79-year-old ranted about his old allies on Truth Social. Owens, Alex Jones, and Marjorie Taylor Greene were among the personalities who went after Trump after his fiery comments.

Candace Owens slams Donald Trump’s recent post

Donald Trump incurred the wrath of his former allies after a fiery post on Truth Social saw him criticize MAGA rebels, who have turned against him in the wake of the Iran war.

“I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs. They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! Look at their past, look at their record. They don’t have what it takes, and they never did!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, singling out the likes of Fox News firebrands Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, conspiracy theorists Candace Owens and Alex Jones, and former GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“President Trump has gone mad as he wages war against Iran, a broken campaign promise,” Greene wrote in response to Trump’s post. “I fought alongside Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones to help get Trump elected.”

Sharing the post by Trump, Candace Owens further added, “It may be time to put Grandpa up in a home.”

Jones, meanwhile, wrote on X, “I have made it very clear that I no longer support Trump, and I’m very thankful to him for making it clear that I have nothing to do with him. The new Trump is a rotting husk of the old Trump.”

Those whom Trump did not mention by name in the post also reacted to this lengthy Truth Social post. Tim Pool, for instance, called this the “last straw.”

It seems clear now that a huge chunk of Donald Trump’s base has turned against him.
