Candace Owens and Marjorie Taylor Greene, former allies of Donald Trump, have called out the President following his comments about Iran and the threat to take down “a whole civilization,” a comment that has gained widespread criticism across the world.
Owens responded to the President’s comments about Iran, saying, “The 25th Amendment needs to be invoked. He is a genocidal lunatic. Our Congress and military need to intervene. We are beyond madness.”
Greene also responded to Trump’s post, saying, “25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.”
On April 7, 2026, Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about Iran, warning of severe consequences if certain conditions were not met. “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” he wrote. “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?”
