Shortly after President Donald Trump quite bluntly addressed Iran in a Truth Social post, Iranian embassies across the world, including in India, Zimbabwe, and the United Kingdom, responded sharply to the President on social media platforms. Several Iranian embassies across the world mocked President Donald Trump following his comments about the situation involving Iran. On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Trump wrote on his Truth Social account, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!”

This comment has drawn attention from critics of the current administration and others familiar with Trump’s direct style of communication.

Iran’s embassy in India responded to the comment on their X account. “Swearing and throwing insults are how sore loser brats behave. Get a grip on yourself, old man!” the embassy said. Meanwhile, the Iranian embassy in the United Kingdom responded sharply with a Mark Twain quote, saying, “It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all.”

Moreover, the Iranian embassy in Zimbabwe was also quick to criticize the President, saying, “‘Presidential decorum’ refers to the expected standards of behavior, conduct, and communication for a president while in office. It includes Respectful and measured language in public statements, Dignified behavior that reflects the seriousness of the office, Adherence to norms and traditions of governance, Composure under pressure, especially during crises, and Respect for institutions, laws, and other branches of government.”

Moreover, other Iranian embassies around the world, including in Thailand, Finland, Tajikistan, Austria, and South Africa, also trolled the President for this comment.

Meanwhile, the war between the United States and Iran continues to rage on.
