Late Night With Seth Meyers Going on a Long Break

The Late Night with Seth Meyers is going on a long spring break. This is the latest talk show confirmed to be going on a hiatus, after others that have either taken or are preparing to go on one. Fortunately for viewers, the show will be airing reruns to keep them occupied. They will also give those who missed older episodes a chance to see what happened.

Late Night With Seth Meyers is set to go on a hiatus

Late Night with Seth Meyers is going on a three-week hiatus starting Monday, March 30, 2026. New episodes will start airing after the hiatus ends on April 20. This isn’t the only late-night talk show starting its spring break. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is also preparing to go on a short hiatus starting March 31, returning with new episodes on April 6. Meanwhile, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has scheduled the start of their two-week break on April 7.

Meyers and Kimmel’s breaks come following Stephen Colbert‘s return from his short hiatus on March 30, 2026. Notably, the latter’s show concludes with its series finale on May 21, 2026. Although the show will be going on a break, Meyers himself will be keeping busy with a series of stand-up gigs scheduled on different dates throughout his break. As mentioned on his official website, he will headline four shows. These include one in Chesterfield, two in Kansas City, and one in New York, between April 10 and April 19, 2026.

The comedian will also be focusing on his podcasts: Family Trips with the Meyers, which he co-hosts with his brother Josh, and The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast, co-hosted by Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. During his hiatus, NBC has scheduled a series of reruns to take place between March 30 and April 3. They are:

  • March 30, 2026 – January 15 rerun – Guests: Kenan Thompson and Carrie Coon
  • March 31, 2026 – February 2 rerun – Guests: Alexander Skarsgård and Paula Pell
  • April 1, 2026 – March 19 rerun – Guests: Anya Taylor-Joy and Shawn Hatosy
  • April 2, 2026 – February 4 rerun – Guests: Kaley Cuoco and James Acaster
  • April 3, 2026 – February 5 rerun – Guests: Nick Jonas and John Early

In the most recent episodes, Meyers interacted with Vincent D’Onofrio. He talked about his role of Kingpin in Daredevil and its sequel series Born Again, as well as his work on early films, Full Metal Jacket and Men in Black, and Amanda Peet, who discussed the new season of her show, Your Friends & Neighbors.
