Popular YouTube Series Heading to Netflix, Sets Release Date

A popular children’s YouTube series will soon arrive on Netflix, and its release date has been confirmed. Danny Go!, the high-energy educational show, will begin streaming in April, bringing its music-driven adventures to a wider audience.

Danny Go! to start streaming on Netflix in April

Danny Go! will debut on Netflix on April 6, with five episodes set to launch on the platform. The drop will include fan-favorite songs like “Ka-Pow! Superhero Dance” along with interactive adventures such as “Escape From Tiger Island.”

According to Netflix, “The educational show, aimed at children ages 3 to 7, blends original songs, silly dance moves, and real-life exploration to let kids burn off some energy — while learning along the way with interactive games.” The format focuses on movement-based learning, encouraging kids to stay active while engaging with the story.

Created by Daniel Coleman, who also stars in the show, Danny Go! first launched on YouTube in 2019. Coleman developed the series alongside his wife Mindy and childhood friends Michael Finster and Matthew Padgett. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the show emphasizes music, play, and imaginative exploration.

Since its debut, the series has grown into a major digital success. The YouTube channel has attracted over 4.5 million subscribers and accumulated nearly 5 billion lifetime views. Now, the move to Netflix is another step in the platform’s strategy to bring popular children’s creators into its ecosystem. The streamer has previously worked with creators like Ms. Rachel, Mark Rober, and Alan Chikin Chow, while continuing to build a strong kids and family catalog that includes titles such as Sesame Street, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and Peppa Pig.

Moreover, Danny Go! has expanded beyond online videos. It completed a national tour with 65 sold-out shows across the United States and introduced a toy line. The team is also entering publishing, with its first picture book, Danny Go’s Volcano Adventure, releasing on March 31. Additional titles, including Silly Spooky Party and Sharks in the Water, are scheduled for future release.

With its upcoming release, Danny Go! is set to introduce its energetic, movement-focused content to a broader global audience on Netflix.
