ABC canceled Paul’s The Bachelorette season in light of a recently surfaced video that sees her involved in domestic violence against ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. The clip showcases Paul kicking and throwing three stools at Mortensen as a child cries in the background.

Kayla Nicole, who is Travis Kelce’s ex, took to TikTok to audition for The Bachelorette on Wednesday, which received mixed reactions from the audience. She added the video’s title as “My audition to be the next ‘Bachelorette,” while lip-syncing to an audio that lists the unique qualities that make her the perfect fit for the reality show. She captioned the video, “Hey @ABC, heard you need a stand-in?” followed by a rose and laughing emoji.
Her post comes amid Frankie Paul‘s The Bachelorette being canceled by ABC in the wake of her ongoing domestic violence investigation. The network’s parent company, Disney, released a statement to announce the cancellation, which read, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.” (via NBC News)
The show was supposed to air on March 22. However, a few days before the show’s premiere, a 2023 video clip resurfaced that showed Paul getting violent towards Mortensen. In the video clip, the former could be seen physically attacking the latter. The infleuncer can be seen brutally throwing three stools at him while he urged her to stop. Her violent activity happened in front of their little daughter, who appears to be scared and was crying in the background, and was seemingly struck amid the horrific fight. Paul has reportedly also been involved in a third domestic violence case, which is currently being investigated by Utah police.
