Reacher Star Alan Ritchson Won’t Face Any Criminal Charges After Fight Video — Report

Alan Ritchson reportedly will not be charged following a physical altercation with his neighbor. The police department reviewed all available evidence, including video footage of the incident, and concluded that the Reacher star acted in self-defense. The case has now been closed, as Ritchson chose not to press charges against the neighbor.

Alan Ritchson is reportedly cleared by the police after his alleged physical altercation with his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, on March 22. Brentwood Police Captain Steven Pepin told Entertainment Weekly that they reviewed all the evidence, including video footage and witness statements.

After careful consideration, they have concluded that Ritchson, who plays Jack in the Reacher series, won’t be charged. This is because they found that Ritchson acted in self-defense. However, the police state that “a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered,” but Ritchson refused to move forward with it and declined to press charges against his neighbor. Pepin confirms that the case is now closed and that no further investigation will be conducted.

Earlier, Ronnie Taylor alleged that Ritchson engaged in a physical fight with him after he complained about the disturbance caused by his motorbike’s noise and speed. Following his allegation, TMZ released footage of their alleged fight. In the clip, Alan Ritchson seems to confront Taylor, with Ritchson’s children sitting on the bike.

Taylor first told TMZ that Ritchson was disrupting the neighborhood’s peace with his motorbike’s excessive noise and speed. At the time, he showed him the middle finger and, in response, received the same gesture. Things got heated when Ritchson passed through the neighborhood once again with two youngsters, and Taylor asked him to stop.

Taylor accused the actor of hitting him “at least four times,” which gave him bruises. Although he said Ritchson ran off after the incident, he claimed the neighborhood witnessed the whole scene.
