Kylie Jenner has joined Timothee Chalamet at several film events. Recently, a source told US Weekly that she has been “proud” of her boyfriend’s success, but also feels “shy” attending big events.
“She is super supportive of his career and feels it’s very important. Even though it overlaps with her world a bit, going to premieres and awards shows still feels [like] new territory for her and she can get a little shy in that setting,” the insider said.
Furthermore, they claimed that the Kylie Cosmetics founder has always understood the importance of Chalamet’s career. She has even reportedly “low-key bragged” about him to her inner circle. She was apparently in “awe” of how the industry treated her boyfriend at the social events. Seeing the “respect” he received, Jenner thus “loves showing up for him.”
Moreover, the reality TV star allegedly enjoyed being by her beau’s side at the Oscars 2026. “He says she calms his nerves, and he equally loves having her with him,” the source added.
Earlier, Chalamet landed in controversy for his ballet remarks before the Academy Awards. Despite the backlash and mocking, his girlfriend stood by him throughout the ceremony. She was reportedly concerned about him when his comments landed him in hot water. “The silly part is she knows he doesn’t actually think that. He’s actually someone that appreciates art on a deep level,” an insider told Globe magazine.
