Chris Pratt shares his younger kids have not yet watched a movie
In a surprising admission, Chris Pratt has opened up about his parenting approach, revealing that his younger kids have yet to see him in action on the big screen. The Hollywood star shared this intriguing insight during his recent appearance on the Today show, giving fans a glimpse into his family life.
When host Craig Melvin asked if his kids knew about his iconic role as Mario, Pratt revealed that his younger kids hadn’t seen any of his movies. He had taken Jack, his eldest, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Anna Faris, to a screening of the first Super Mario Bros. movie. However, the little ones are still unaware of their dad’s superstar status.
Chris Pratt revealed that his kids, Lyla (5), Eloise (3), and Ford (1), with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, haven’t seen any of his work as they limit their kids’ screen time, keeping them away from his films for now.
“They haven’t realized it yet, but one day. Jack likes me, though,” he shared. “He thinks it’s pretty cool.” The Jurassic World actor added, “My 5-year-old, my 3-year-old, and my 1-year-old have never seen movies. Katherine is very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff. So, we’re waiting.”
Chris Pratt has a packed schedule in 2026 with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, hitting theaters on April 3. Additionally, he will star in the Apple TV+ film Way of the Warrior Kid, releasing in November, and is set to reprise his role in The Tomorrow War 2, currently in development.
