Erika Kirk recently gave a speech at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, where she addressed students and offered advice to “young, white, male men.”

In a video circulating on X (previously known as Twitter), the CEO of Turning Point USA is seen speaking with students affiliated with the organization. Kirk can be seen tearing up in the video as she sent her message to young, white men, and stated, “Don’t let anyone disenfranchise you because you’re a young man — especially a young, white, male man.”

Kirk continued, “Don’t ever let anyone talk down to you. We need strong men out there. Strong men who are convicted, that will be good leaders, good husbands, good fathers, like mine.”

Reactions to videos of her speech online have ranged from support to ridicule for Kirk’s use of the term “male man,” with many commenters joking that the term was meant to target mail delivery workers specifically.

The speech follows Erika Kirk’s appointment to the key advisory board of the Air Force Academy. According to The Hill, while speaking about this, White House spokesperson Olivia Wales stated, “Charlie Kirk served proudly on the Board, inspiring not only the next generation of servicemembers, but millions around the world with his bold Christian faith, defense of the truth, and deep love of country. Erika Kirk will continue his legacy, and will be a fearless advocate for the most elite airpower force in the history of the world whose warriors keep our Nation safe, strong, and free.”

However, the Air Force Academy has not revealed the timeline of when Kirk was appointed to the aforementioned position.
