Apple TV is giving fans their best look yet at the upcoming dark comedy Outcome, revealing a striking new poster featuring Keanu Reeves alongside confirmation of both the trailer release date and when the film will begin streaming.
Keanu Reeves-led Outcome trailer comes tomorrow ahead of Apple TV release date
The streaming service announced that the official trailer for Outcome will release on March 17, giving audiences their first extended sneak peek of the Jonah Hill-directed feature. Alongside the trailer news, Apple TV released a poster placing Reeves front and center, surrounded by the film’s impressive ensemble cast list.
The poster features Reeves as Reef Hawk, a beloved Hollywood star navigating a personal crisis. Surrounding his silhouette are the names of co-stars Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, and Hill himself, and more, hinting at the star power assembled for this project.
In detail, its official synopsis reads, “A dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that’s sure to shatter his image and end his career.” Further adding, “With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer.”
Beyond the leading quartet, the ensemble cast also has Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk all attached to the project.
Jonah Hill co-wrote the screenplay with Ezra Woods, making it his third major directorial effort following 2018’s Mid90s and the 2022 documentary Stutz.
The upcoming movie will premiere globally on Apple TV on Friday, April 10, 2026.
