With Spider-Man: Brand New Day gradually approaching its theatrical release date, details regarding its first trailer finally seem to be coming out. While speculation about the first teaser for the Tom Holland outing had previously hinted at a March 2026 premiere, recent updates have only added fuel to the fire.

An official distributor for Spider-Man 4 appears to have inadvertently disclosed the release date of the movie’s maiden trailer, stating that the promotional video will debut on March 18, 2026.
According to The Direct, Ascar Cinema, the official Sony Pictures distributor in Kazakhstan, recently announced on Instagram that the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will debut on Wednesday at 4:05 PM Almaty time, which converts to 7:05 AM ET or 4:05 AM PT in the United States.
Notably, Ascar Cinema deleted the said post shortly after uploading it, suggesting that Sony and Marvel might not have intended to reveal information regarding the release date of Spider-Man 4’s trailer just yet.
The crucial update from Sony Pictures’ Kazakhstan distributor comes a few days after another renowned scooper, The Beyond Reporter, claimed the film’s trailer will premiere online on March 18.
Looking at previous trailer release patterns for Marvel, a Wednesday release for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer makes sense, as Ryan Gosling’s Project Hail Mary will hit theaters on March 20. With Sony Pictures in charge of international distribution for the much-awaited sci-fi adventure, the media conglomerate will have the option to club Spider-Man 4 trailers with Project Hail Mary screenings. Marvel Studios recently used this strategy to debut Avengers: Doomsday trailers, releasing four teasers of the movie during Avatar: Fire and Ash shows over the course of a month.
While doubts regarding the release date of its trailer continue to linger, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is on track to open in theaters on July 31, 2026.
