California’s Governor Gavin Newsom has landed yet another blow on Donald Trump in the duo’s prolonged war of words, calling out the Republican President for one of his Truth Social posts. The former mayor of San Francisco slammed Trump with an X (formerly Twitter) update of his own, calling him a “brain-dead moron” while throwing shade at his alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein.
Gavin Newsom calls out Donald Trump after his comment
On March 11, the long-term Democrat took to social media to reply to the POTUS after the latter claimed that he had sabotaged his own political career by talking about his learning disability.
“I spoke about my dyslexia. I know that’s hard for a brain-dead moron who bombs children and protects pedophiles to understand,” Gavin Newsom wrote on X (Twitter). This alluded to Donald Trump’s alleged friendship with Epstein as well as the Iranian casualties that occurred on the orders of the President.
However, it is important to note that despite all the accusations, authorities have yet to conclusively prove the allegations against Trump.
Notably, Trump had blasted Newsom following the Governor’s recent conversation with Andre Dickens, the mayor of Atlanta, during an event to promote his memoir, Young Man in a Hurry.
The two-time President wrote on his Truth Social profile, “Gavin Newscum’s interview weeks ago was, perhaps, the most self-destructive interview I’ve ever seen. In one fell swoop, he took himself out of even being considered as the Presidential Nominee of the Crazy (as proven at the State of the Union Address) Democrats. He said, in a speech, he was dumb, had low Boards, can’t read, has dyslexia, and has a mental disorder — A Cognitive Mess! On top of that, Black People are angry because he is obviously a racist. While we all want to be politically correct, having a mental disorder is not a positive campaign event. Also, this was a politically suicidal act. The only thing he didn’t say is he is losing his look, but nobody wants to say that about one’s self. He is no longer a viable Presidential Candidate.”
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has yet to respond to Gavin Newsom’s comment regarding his social media post.
