Burger King has surprised fans with the launch of a new burger, called the Alpha King Yeti The One Pounder. Unfortunately for fans in the US, this new item is only available for Japanese fans. The fast food chain announced the latest addition, loaded with 1,700 calories, to its Japan menu on March 12.
Burger King unveils its new ‘Yeti’ burger
Burger King has come up with another towering burger (per Dexerto). The Alpha King Yeti The One Pounder is bigger than any of the whoppers on the US menu as of this writing. It features four 100% flame-grilled beef patties layered with four slices of Gouda cheese, four strips of bacon, pickles, ketchup, and a rich white cheese sauce made with Camembert and garlic.
Weighing approximately 543 grams (1.2 pounds), it will be available at Burger King Restaurants across Japan from March 13 for a limited time. It packs 1,713 calories, which exceeds the calorie count for the Triple Whopper by hundreds. Further, it offers three times the calories of the normal Whopper. Considering the “super-size” of the item, the company suggests that customers order it “half-cut.” This will allow for the ease of eating.
The Alpha King Yeti The One Pounder alone is priced at 2,390 yen (about $16). Fans can also add a drink and fries to make it a full meal, which will cost 2,690 yen (about $18). Those who try this item will also get a limited-edition original sticker as a token of their bravery to take on the huge calorific challenge.
This is not the first time Japan has stunned the internet with an enormous burger. Back in July 2025, the fast food chain launched the Baby Body Burger. It had an even higher calorie count at 1,876 calories and weighed 668 grams. This burger was launched as a collaboration with the Japan Sumo Association. Dubbed a “Clash of the Beef,” it came with five flame-grilled beef patties.
