Woman in Ex-Prince Andrew’s Epstein Photo Recalled ‘Groping’ Incident

A new photo of a woman allegedly sitting on ex-Prince Andrew’s lap from the Epstein files has put the former duke’s past under the spotlight, after a report connected the photos to previous allegations from one of Epstein’s victims who claimed that Andrew had “groped” her.

In an investigative report, images released by the U.S. Department of Justice show Andrew inside Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse during his December 2010 trip to New York. Andrew has long claimed he made that visit to end his friendship with Epstein after the latter’s conviction.

The Mirror exclusively published the investigation, highlighting a photo from the Epstein files that shows a woman sitting in ex-Prince Andrew’s lap. The low-resolution image shows Andrew sitting with a young woman, his arms around her waist, reportedly inside Epstein’s home, with the outlet noting that the woman’s face appears redacted and her identity remains concealed.

Moreover, the outlet described a second photo showing Andrew seated with another young woman standing behind him, her arms around his neck.

The Mirror reported that after being shown the pictures, one Epstein victim allegedly criticized Andrew’s long-standing explanation for the trip, emphasizing, “He told the world he went there to end the friendship, but what we now see is the opposite.”

They further highlighted, “It didn’t look like someone cutting ties; it looked like someone perfectly comfortable being there, reunited with his long-lost friend.”

Along with the photos, The Mirror pointed to earlier sworn testimony from Johanna Sjoberg, who accused the former prince of groping her after she sat on his lap inside Epstein’s house. In her deposition, Sjoberg described a puppet, recalling, “It looked like him.” She then went on to describe how Andrew “put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo.”

Notably, the new photos do not, on their own, identify the women shown, but the report connects them to the claims and testimony that have followed Andrew for a long period, revisiting the time of his visit to Epstein’s home.
