Some new rumors have surfaced, potentially revealing the release date windows for the first trailers for Spider-Man 4 and Dune 3. There is significant anticipation surrounding both films. The former will mark the next chapter in the webslinger’s story in the MCU. Meanwhile, the latter will conclude Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi trilogy that began in 2021.
Dune 3’s and Spider-Man 4’s first trailers could arrive next week
According to X (formerly Twitter) user Cryptic4KQual, the first trailer for Dune 3 will possibly launch next week. They claimed that it would be attached to Project Hail Mary’s IMAX screenings. Further, the scooper alleged that their source has seen it and calls it “superb.”
Meanwhile, content creator Matt Ramos (Supes) claimed on X that the Spider-Man 4 trailer may arrive next week. However, he neglected to cite a source, prompting a fan to respond that he was risking his credibility. Ramos then commented back with an assurance about his belief in the story.
However, since both of these reports come from unofficial sources, they must be taken with a grain of salt. Neither Warner Bros. Pictures nor Sony has officially revealed when the Dune: Part Three and Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailers will drop.
Last month, a user claimed on X that Timothée Chalamet revealed on Quotidien that work on the Dune 3 trailer was completed and would come out soon.
Meanwhile, Trailer Track, an account that keeps track of trailer releases, shared that Sony’s marketing team was weighing two options when it came to dropping Brand New Day’s trailer. The first was dropping it exclusively in theaters in front of Project Hail Mary during the film’s opening weekend, starting March 20, and releasing it online at the start of the following week. The second was waiting until CinemaCon on April 13, 2026, where Sony is scheduled to have a major presence, to simultaneously drop the trailer at the event and online, in addition to exclusive footage for event attendees.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day premieres on July 31, 2026. Meanwhile, Dune: Part Three launches on December 18, alongside Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.
