KFC teams up with Power Rangers to promote its sauce lineup
KFC Singapore’s official Instagram launched a promotional campaign showcasing their new Sauce Rangers. There are four videos, one dedicated to each Sauce Ranger. Each Sauce Ranger represents one of KFC Singapore’s dips. Every ranger has donned an outfit inspired by the unique sauce’s packaging and colors.
The first is “Secret Grill”, dubbed as the leader of the Sauce Rangers. This sauce claims to be “smokey”, “peppery”, and “BBQ-ey” as the sauce ranger punches a chicken down a chicken tender.
The second is “Mala Mania”, aka the pink Sauce Ranger. She is dubbed as the “hottest” ranger and promises to be “spicy” and “tingly”. It has the distinctive numbing spice of Sichuan peppercorns. The pink Sauce Ranger effortlessly tackles a fries monster and knocks it over with a freestyle punch.
Next is the “White Curry Siok”, a Sauce Ranger that boasts a delectable spicy, savoury curry flavor. It promises to be truly “unstoppable” and not hard on the consumer’s stomach.
Finally, it is the “Cheezy Onion”, the orange ranger. It claims to be sticky and gooey with “endless cheese and onion.” The fast-food giant described the sauce as one that “brings to mind a cheeseburger.” Users can taste the four delicious sauces and vote for their favourite on KFC’s website. The voting ends this month.
One fan wrote, “KFC Singapore turning sauces into superheroes with the Sauce Rangers? Genius marketing move. Pink Mala Mania, Orange Cheezy Onion, Red Shhh Secret Grill, Blue White Curry Syok!—each one sounds wilder than the last. I’m voting for Blue White Curry Syok! all day. That sounds like pure chaos in the best way. Who are you backing? Drop your vote!”
A third fan commented, “This is giving real childhood hero vibes. Growing up, we all had our favorite characters we rooted for, so seeing KFC turn sauces into heroes feels like bringing those memories back in a fun way. Now everyone will have their own ‘favorite hero’ flavor to support.”
