Production on Reacher Season 4 has wrapped, and according to Alan Ritchson, the release date is much sooner than some may have expected. While promoting his latest project, War Machine, the actor sat down with Collider and dropped the news that everyone has been waiting for. “Well, we finished shooting Season 4 of Reacher,” Ritchson told the outlet. “It’s by far the best season we’ve had yet, so it’s coming. It’ll be out this year.”
That confirmation locks in a 2026 release date window for Reacher Season 4, putting to rest any speculation that the show might slip into next year. Prime Video has not yet announced a specific premiere date, but Ritchson’s update gives fans a clear timeline to mark on their calendars.
Furthermore, with the Neagley spin-off also in the works and already filmed before Season 4, there is even a chance viewers could see two connected series drop in the same year. Maria Sten will reprise her role as Frances Neagley in the spin-off, with Ritchson also expected to appear.
Ritchson previously told Screen Rant that Season 4 features roughly 30 fight sequences across eight episodes, the most the show has attempted yet. “We’ve never shot this many fights,” he said, while acknowledging his concern about “fight fatigue” among viewers.
The Season 3 finale left Jack Reacher in a familiar position. After taking down his longtime enemy Francis Xavier Quinn, who had murdered his protégé Dominique Kohl years earlier, Reacher said his goodbyes to Neagley, stole a motorcycle, and headed off down the road to whatever comes next. That open road now leads straight into Season 4 later this year.
Reacher Season 4 will release on Prime Video this year, but an exact premiere date has not been announced.
