Cruz Beckham ‘Hopes to’ Reconcile With Brooklyn Beckham

Brooklyn Beckham has been estranged from his family for a while, all boiling down to a feud that dates back to his marriage to Nicola Peltz. He is particularly on poor terms with his parents, David and Victoria, having accused them of meddling in his life and spreading lies. Despite this and their current estrangement, it seems his youngest brother, Cruz Beckham, holds no ill feelings towards him. The latter revealed in a recent public interaction that he was open to reconciliation.

In a new video by TMZ and Hello!, a reporter approached Cruz Beckham as he was walking down the street in Paris with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel. She asked him if he had any well-wishes for his older brother on his birthday, which took place on March 4.

Beckham responded by wishing his brother a “Happy Birthday.” After this, he was asked whether he and Brooklyn were on speaking terms and whether there were any reconciliation plans. Initially ignoring the reporter, the 21-year-old responded that he was “hopeful.”

Last month, Cruz Beckham shared a photo carousel on Instagram. One of the pictures was of him, Brooklyn, and Romeo as kids, with the eldest brother smiling and affectionately holding his younger ones, who also smiled.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn Beckham released a lengthy scathing statement on social media. He expressed his frustration with and resentment towards his parents, confirming the long-speculated feud. In it, he stressed that he tried to keep his family problems private. However, he stated he had no choice but to address them because his parents interacted with the media. He accused his parents of spreading false narratives and “controlling” him, claiming that he grew up feeling “overwhelming anxiety.”

Brooklyn Beckham also claimed they frequently disrespected his wife, Nicola Peltz. Further, he shared that ever since he started standing up for himself, his parents attacked him “privately and publicly.” He added that his parents had his brothers attack him on social media, claiming they blocked him “out of nowhere.”

Brooklyn Beckham made it clear that he didn’t want to reconcile with his parents. He stated, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life” (via PEOPLE).
