Apple has unveiled a new phone, iPhone 17e, which aims to deliver great value, durability, advanced cameras, and faster performance at a lower price than the existing base iPhone model. With the power of the A19 chip, this iPhone claims to deliver 2x the speed of the iPhone 11. The new models will also come at a base storage of 256 GB, making them future-proof.

Apple has introduced a new model to its existing iPhone 17 lineup.
iPhone 17e, announced by Apple in a press release, features the latest-generation A19 chip, which delivers strong performance and handles the workload of all major applications. iPhone 17e also features C1X, Apple’s latest-generation cellular modem, which is at least twice as fast as C1 in iPhone 16e.
Additionally, the phone features a 48 MP fusion camera, which Apple claims is a significant upgrade over the 16e. The 6.1-inch display, which sports the familiar design of iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, features Ceramic Shield 2, which promises greater durability in the new device.
One of the key features added to the new iPhone 17e is MagSafe compatibility. This will not only enable seamless wireless charging but also make the model compatible with MagSafe accessories such as chargers and cases.

The phone comes in three colors, white, black, and soft pink, all of them featuring a matte finish.
The phone will be available for pre-order starting March 4, 2026. Apple has revealed that it will be available from March 11, 2026. The 256 GB variant of the phone will be available for $599.
