Ex-Prince Andrew Allegedly Had a Top Royal Advisor Kicked Out Once

Ex-Prince Andrew may now be in the news for being arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. But as per a source, a royal advisor had long warned the late Queen Elizabeth about her son Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s wrongdoings. As a result, the former prince had her most trusted advisors kicked out.

Ex-Prince Andrew was reportedly behind late Queen Elizabeth’s top advisor being kicked out

Sir Christopher Geidt had worked as the late Queen Elizabeth’s private secretary for 10 years before he was forced to leave the palace. And if sources are to be believed, it was Andrew Mountbatten Windsor who reportedly got the most trusted advisors kicked out of the royal household. He served as the Queen’s private secretary from 2007 to 2017.

As per the Daily Mail, sources have claimed that the top adviser, Geidt, was ousted from the royal household in 2017 after warning the monarch about her second son’s business dealings and the impact it could have on the Royal Family. However, two years later, the late queen’s former private secretary — by which time he had entered the House of Lords — was contacted by “highly placed informants,” who warned him about Andrew’s business dealings with Russian oligarchs.

“He said that he would pass on the information to his old colleagues at the Palace, but that he had long been aware of these issues and he had attempted to raise them before, ‘But the Queen just doesn’t want to know,'” one of the sources told the outlet. They added, “It seems clear that Andrew played a role in his departure in 2017.”

The news comes after the former Duke of York was arrested on his 66th birthday on February 19 morning at his Norfolk residence on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was later released under investigation after being interrogated for 11 hours at the Aylsham police station in Norfolk.
