Sarah Ferguson May Join Ex-Prince Andrew’s Move to Middle East — Source

Sarah Ferguson has reportedly started to see the Middle East as a possible place to build a more stable life away from the U.K., and she may do so with her ex-husband, ex-Prince Andrew. Ferguson has been spending time in the United Arab Emirates. Now, a source claims, “In her mind, you go where you are welcomed, not where you are constantly on the defensive.” Thus, relocating away from her home country seems like a plausible option for her.

Sarah Ferguson sees Middle East as place ‘she and Andrew could settle long term,’ per source

Radar Online exclusively reported that Sarah Ferguson has spent time in the Middle East recently, as people wonder where she and ex-Prince Andrew will settle in the long term. Moreover, the outlet claimed that she has faced pressure around her living situation at Royal Lodge in Windsor. The British author has continued to live there despite the couple’s divorce in 1996.

A source told Radar Online that Ferguson “has concluded that, realistically, the Middle East might be the only region where she and Andrew could settle long term and build some semblance of a stable existence without being relentlessly defined by scandal.”

Additionally, the insider described why the Gulf may feel different than life at home. They explained, “There, reputation operates on a different axis – status, access, and longstanding relationships tend to carry more weight than tabloid narratives,” adding, “Sarah feels the controversy that dominates headlines in Britain does not translate in the same way socially or professionally.”

The outlet further points to Andrew’s long-standing ties in the region, which date back to his time as a U.K. trade envoy. Now, he has reportedly been offered the use of a private villa in Abu Dhabi’s Sea Palace complex, with a palace aide telling Radar Online that the relationships could lead to “tangible assistance” and distance from relentless press attention.

Meanwhile, Ferguson “has been very open with people in her circle, and she feels an urgent need to rebuild income streams.” If Sarah Ferguson does relocate to the Middle East with ex-Prince Andrew, it will be about “self-preservation.”
