Ohio’s Great Wolf Lodge Debuts a Ranch-Flavored Milkshake

Ohio’s Great Wolf Lodge has introduced a limited-time treat that’s equal parts intriguing and innovative. In a bold move that’s sure to corral the hearts of thrill-seeking taste buds, the water park resort is shaking things up with its new ranch-flavored milkshake. The unique treat is sure to spark curiosity and fuel hilarious moments with loved ones.

Ohio’s great wolf lodge to launch a ranch milkshake

Ohio’s Great Wolf Lodge is about to stir up the fun with the debut of its ranch-flavored milkshake. The exclusive indulgence is now available at its Sandusky location, among others, featuring a blend of vanilla ice cream and authentic ranch dressing.

The Ranch milkshake features certain unusual toppings, including crispy chicken, carrots, celery, whipped cream, and a sweet-salty lime rim. The resort suggests sipping it or using it as a dip, embracing the ranch vibe. The unique dessert launches nationwide from March 5 to 20. Additionally, in celebration of National Ranch Day on March 10, it will be offered at a special price of $3.10.

The drink’s sweet-and-savory combo has already sparked online buzz. Combining ranch and ice cream is unusual enough, but adding chicken and veggies takes it to a whole new level. “I’m thinking it’s a no from me,” commented Dexerto itself under its X (formerly Twitter) post. “prison for anyone who buys this,” echoed another. “Bathrooms better be ready for action,” joked an X user.

However, this is not an isolated instance of a condiment being reimagined as a sweet treat. In 2025, Smoothie King collaborated with Heinz to create a ketchup-flavored beverage, exemplifying the sweet-savory fusion trend. KFC also joined the trend with a limited-time Gravy Gelato.

Meanwhile, prominent baby brand Frida introduced a breast milk-flavored ice cream last year, notable for not containing actual breast milk. The brand asserted that the dessert was a “pitch-perfect representation of the sweet, creamy, nutrient-packed goodness” inherent to breast milk.
