The 98th Academy Awards are shaping up to be yet another star-studded affair, especially on the hosting side of things. The 2026 edition of the Oscars will feature a host of A-list celebrities taking to the stage to give away the golden statuettes, with the updated list of presenters revealing the inclusion of Chris Evans and another Marvel mainstay, among other additions.
Chris Evans, Kumail Nanjiani, and others set to take stage at 2026 Oscars
According to a recent report, the two veteran actors, who have played pivotal roles in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, have joined the long list of presenters for the 2026 Oscars.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, in addition to Chris Evans and Kumail Nanjiani, the freshly announced batch of presenters also includes The Substance lead Demi Moore, F1 star Javier Bardem, Saturday Night Live veteran Maya Rudolph, and up-and-coming Golden Globe Award nominee Chase Infiniti.
Notably, Moore will step foot onto the Oscars stage as a presenter after facing defeat in the Best Actress category at the 2025 ceremony. The 63-year-old actress had notched a nomination last year for her masterful performance in The Substance. However, she subsequently lost the award to Mikey Madison for her stint in the Sean Baker-helmed Anora.
Meanwhile, Chase Infiniti, 25, will serve as an Oscars presenter at the 2026 edition after closely missing out on a Best Actress nod for One Battle After Another. Her omission from the category came as a surprise, as the actress had been enjoying a relatively fruitful award season run so far.
The Leonardo DiCaprio-led One Battle After Another also impressed critics, securing 13 nominations. Meanwhile, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners set a record for most Oscar nominations for a film, nabbing 16 nominations this time out. Marty Supreme, Frankenstein, and Sentimental Value also scored big at the 2026 Oscars, with each movie garnering nine nominations each.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the 98th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
