Jason Kelce, the veteran NFL star who spent his entire 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles, has been very active after his NFL days, and it seems that the podcast host has found another new role to add to his stacked resume. As per new reports, Kelce is putting on the lab coat as a ‘beer scientist’ in a new weekly social series built around over-the-top lab experiments.
Jason Kelce’s new role is ‘Beer Scientist’
NFL and Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce is adding another role to his post-NFL life. In a new report from Reel360, it has been confirmed that Garage Beer has officially launched Garage Labs, a six-week social content series. It will roll out in a weekly format, with the banner “Thank Garage It’s Friday.”
This new campaign sees Jason Kelce take up a lab coat in his self-styled “beer scientist” persona.
The new series will see Kelce experimenting with unconventional methods tied to beer culture.
For instance, in the first episode, titled Cold Cranker, Kelce will try to supercharge the cooling process by connecting a can of Garage Beer to a car battery. The experiments will be geared toward entertainment, rather than science.
Another segment will see Kelce exploring the prospect of powder beer. The series does not intend to present any of these innovations as real innovations. Rather, they seem to be intentionally absurd and plan to carve out a space in the digital comedy scenario.
This campaign was developed under Chief Creative Officer Corey Smale, with direction from Jordan Phoenix (via Complex). Kelce was also reportedly involved directly with the creative direction.
Jason Kelce, along with his brother Travis Kelce, became a major investor in Garage Beer in 2024. Jason has been taking on an active role in marketing the beer.
