King Charles Blamed by Epstein for Ex-Prince Andrew’s Setback — Report

Jeffrey Epstein once reportedly blamed King Charles over ex-Prince Andrew losing an important public role, in emails that surfaced in a huge document release. The emails add a new detail to a story that already sits under intense public and legal scrutiny. While investigators continue their work and the palace tries to process everything, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s removal as the United Kingdom’s trade envoy is now in the spotlight.

Epstein once called ex-Prince Andrew’s removal King Charles’ ‘doing’ in emails, claims report

GB News reported that the emails released in more than three million documents by the US Department of Justice allegedly show Epstein putting the blame on King Charles for ex-Prince Andrew’s ousting as the U.K.’s trade envoy. Andrew held the role of the special representative for international trade and investment from 2001 to 2011. This, in turn, gave him access to senior government and business figures worldwide.

The outlet reported that the email in question dates to July 21, 2011 — the day Andrew’s departure from the job was confirmed — and Epstein allegedly wrote, “I assume he knows that this is Charles’ doing.” Per GB News, Epstein sent that line in response to another message. The message read, “Lots of TV coverage on PA and always big feature on you. Insane.”

Additionally, GB News reported that Epstein reacted to the news elsewhere in the released files, allegedly writing, “I’m sure this is good for him, he will now be free,” and also sent a news article about Andrew to Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell reportedly replied, “Why?,” and Epstein allegedly responded, “I think he wants to make money.”

Andrew stepped down from the trade envoy role amid rising scrutiny of his relationship with Epstein — but currently, the wider spotlight on the former royal has not faded. GB News reported that the police arrested Andrew and released him under investigation on February 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

Thames Valley Police later confirmed the end of search activity at Royal Lodge. Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said, “Officers have now left the location we have been searching in Berkshire,” adding, “Our investigation remains ongoing.”
