Cardi B Didn’t Take Long to Finalize Breakup — Source

Breakup rumours surrounding Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have been swirling around. The couple received quite a lot of love. However, now they have decided split after Cardi “pumped the brakes” on the relationship.

The rapper and the New England Patriots wide receiver also share a son together. He was born in November 2025, but this didn’t change the direction for the “I Like It” rapper. This was quite unexpected. After all, their relationship and Cardi’s supportive stance during his games had made quite a lot of headlines.

Cardi B relationship with Stefon Diggs got ‘too heated and complicated,’ per source

A source close to the Grammy winner recently told People that the decision to split was made by her. They further explained, “Things were getting too heated and complicated. Cardi is very no-nonsense.” They also added, “The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music, and tour.”

However, it seems like the connection between the rapper and Diggs isn’t entirely over. This isn’t just because of their child, but there seems to be more. Discussing this exclusively with People, the source elaborated, “She needs stability and wants the same for her kids. They co-parent, and the door is not completely closed. They might reconnect in the future.”

However, neither Cardi B nor Stefon Diggs nor their representatives have given an official comment or statement on this matter, as of yet. Further, given how closely their relationship has been followed since it first made headlines, any comments are undoubtedly going to draw a major blast of attention. However, until one of them chooses to address these speculations, fans are unfortunately left trying to piece together updates through rumors, sources’ statements, and subtle social media cues.
