Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in ‘survival mode’ after arrest news, per source

Ex-Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, have reportedly been in “survival mode” after police officers arrested the former Duke of York. Before the arrest, the former couple also lost their royal titles and their longtime residence, the Royal Lodge. As reported by Us Weekly, a source observed that, for them, “There’s no real return to royal life.” The person continued that the ex-couple is “very much in survival mode.”

Meanwhile, another insider went on to say to the news outlet that Andrew and Ferguson had acted “defensive, not reflective” before the arrest of the former Prince. The source then claimed, “They have a lot of shared resentment toward the media rather than any deep inward reckoning.” The insider also added, “Privately, there is regret, but it’s rarely said out loud.”

Further, royal expert Christopher Andersen shared with the news outlet that Andrew, “in particular, has always had a sense of entitlement that was extreme even in royal circles.” David E. Johnson, an expert in crisis communications, also explained, “There is no return whatsoever for either Sarah or Andrew, even if they’re not formally charged.”

According to the news outlet, the former couple has been leaning on one another at this time. Another expert further claimed that ex-Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, “are miserable.” The person then added, “And misery loves company.”

In the meantime, the former Duke of York’s arrest has reportedly made his two daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, feel “horrified, devastated.” They are “in a state of total shock,” claimed a source.
