Watch more than eight minutes of Ready or Not 2
The Ready or Not 2 latest footage offers an extended glimpse into Grace’s next harrowing ordeal. The scene catches up with Grace (Samara Weaving) and her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) in a tense moment of makeshift medical care.
Grace nurses injuries from the chaos that has already unfolded, with glass fragments embedded in her arm, while Faith works to remove them. Their conversation veers into unresolved family tensions as the sisters attempt to reconnect under impossible circumstances.
Their bonding is cut short when a masked man appears, forcing both women to shift into survival mode. The sequence has the blend of violence, dark humor, and family dysfunction that made the 2019 original a cult favorite. Directing duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett return to helm the sequel after their success with the last two Scream films.
The cast expands beyond Weaving and Newton, with Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Kevin Durand, and legendary body horror filmmaker David Cronenberg joining the chaos. Nestor Carbonell and Olivia Cheng round out the ensemble.
Check out brand new Ready or Not 2 posters
Multiple posters have surfaced promoting the March release, each carrying the title “Ready or Not, Here I Come” alongside various theater chain branding. One poster features the bold declaration “NEW GAME / FRESH BLOOD” with Fandango branding at the bottom, emphasizing the sequel’s escalation of the original concept.
Another design plays with the film’s high-stakes premise, reading “DOUBLE OR NOTHING” above the title. Another version carries Dolby Cinema branding, suggesting premium format screenings will be available. A fourth poster takes a more thematic approach with the text “A LITTLE GRACE… A LITTLE FAITH / A LOT OF BLOOD!” cleverly incorporating both lead character names while promising the gory violence fans expect.
