Kid Rock Blasts Reports of $5K Tour Tickets: ‘God Will Cut ‘Em’

Kid Rock has suggested that God will act on the members of the media who reported that “first-class tickets” for his Freedom 250 tour cost $5,000. On Friday, February 20, the musician took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to call out the reporters who used the information in their headlines.

Kid Rock calls out journalists over reports of his tour ticket prices

After singing a song about finding Jesus at the Turning Point USA alternative halftime show, Kid Rock turned to religion once again in his new X post. Referring to the journalists who made headlines out of the fact that he is charging $5,000 for some premium tickets on his tour, he wrote, “I WILL pray for them, but I know that sooner or later God will cut ‘em down.”

In his post, he called out “the fake liberal media” for saying that he is “charging $5,000 for front-row tickets.” He added, “They know damn well that’s not the full story.” Then, he confirmed that he is charging between $1,000-5,000 for “First Class seats” to his upcoming concerts.

Rock wrote, “Those are extremely limited First Class seats like I explained  — FOUR tickets per row, first five rows only (5k per seat row 1, 4k row 2, 3k row 3, 2k row 4, 1k row 5) — Again ONLY 4 seats in rows 1 through 5 (20 “first class” seats in venues that hold 15k to 25k people).” These seats do not offer any other perks other than their proximity to the stage.

Beyond these seats, at least the next nine or ten rows cost $500 each. Meanwhile, other reserved seats are available for $500, $200, or $100, with the $100 tickets located in the back rows. As Rock noted in his post, the $50 lawn tickets offer a far more affordable option. However, those reports about the $5,000 tickets are just as legitimate.
