Doland Trump Calls Netflix Board Member ‘Racist,’ Demands Firing

President Donald Trump is demanding that Netflix terminate one of its board members, Susan Rice, or face unspecified repercussions. His comment came on February 21 through a post on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, targeting the former U.N. ambassador and national security advisor.

Donald Trump shares post suggesting Netflix should fire Susan Rice

In a recent Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences. She’s got no talent or skills – Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK.” The president further questioned Rice’s role at the streaming giant, asking, “How much is she being paid, and for what??? Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.”

Donald Trump’s post followed comments Susan Rice made on Preet Bharara’s podcast earlier this week. In the interview, she suggested that corporations, law firms, and media companies aligning themselves with Trump for short-term gain could face consequences if Democrats regain power.

She stated, “For those that decided that they would act in their perceived, very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore as very short-term self-interest, and take a knee to Trump, I think they are now starting to realize, ‘Wait a minute, this is not popular. Trump is not popular.’”

She added, “There is likely to be a swing in the other direction, and they are going to be caught with more than their pants down. They are going to be held accountable by those who come in opposition to Trump and win at the ballot box.”

Moreover, Trump linked his post to commentary from conservative activist Laura Loomer. She had criticized Netflix amid its proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. The potential deal has drawn political attention, with lawmakers questioning its competitive impact and cultural implications. Trump told NBC News earlier this month he would not involve himself in regulatory approval decisions regarding the deal, though he previously suggested he might break from tradition and weigh in.
