According to Page Six, Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth separated almost a year ago. An insider source close to the couple has told the outlet that the Transformers actor relocated to New Orleans shortly after the split. Neither LaBeouf nor Goth has made any official confirmation regarding the breakup. It is also unclear whether they have filed for a divorce.
LaBeouf first met Goth on the set of Lars von Trier’s erotic art film Nymphomaniac in 2012 and had been in a tempestuous relationship since. After getting married in 2016, it was announced that they had separated and filed for divorce. The pair reconciled in 2022 and were expecting their first child. They welcomed their daughter in March that year.
Reports of their breakup come just days after LaBeouf was arrested in New Orleans on Tuesday after getting into a brawl during the Mardi Gras celebrations. He is reportedly facing charges of two counts of simple battery. The actor was held at Orleans Parish Prison in Louisiana.
According to the latest reports, LaBeouf appeared virtually for a court hearing on Tuesday afternoon before a judge at the Magistrate Division of Orleans Parish Criminal Court. He was later released from custody on the condition that he would be present for future hearings. The actor’s next court hearing is scheduled for March 19.
Meanwhile, Goth recently starred in Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-nominated movie Frankenstein. She shared the screen with Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac in the film. Additionally, she is also set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic fantasy, The Odyssey, where she reportedly plays Melantho, a maid of Odysseus and Penelope. The highly anticipated movie is arriving in theaters on July 17, 2026.
