Travis Kelce Makes NSFW ‘Wood’ Tribute to Taylor Swift on Valentine’s

Taylor Swift‘s fiancé, Travis Kelce, posted an NSFW Valentine’s Day message wrapped in a cheeky post on the “New Heights” page. The caption included, “Happy Valentine’s Day 92%ers,” for listeners. It showed the Chiefs’ tight end laughing with headphones on.

Still, fans treated it like a nod to “Wood” from Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” catalog. That track is widely linked to the pop star and her NFL fiancé. So the post read like a spicy Swift-and-Kelce Valentine’s wink. However, it kept the couple’s day private.

On the “New Heights” upload, the card asked, “Wood you be my Valentine?” on screen. Travis Kelce runs the sports show with his brother, Jason. The post shows about 94K likes and 673 comments as of now. A small tree icon sat in the corner. The tree looked like a redwood, matching the punchline. Meanwhile, the “To” and “From” lines were left blank. So it looked like a DIY Valentine template. Even so, the caption did the heavy lifting.

At the same time, the pun ties back to Taylor Swift’s Wood chatter online. In one Reddit recap, a fan joked, “NEW HEIGHTS OF MANHOOD,” online. Another wrote, “She doesn’t have to knock on wood because it’s knocking on her,” in the same thread. Then the comments kept riffing on the joke. One follower added, “These are too good,” under the post. In turn, the drop felt like a controlled reference.

Also, the moment fits the couple’s love letter lore. In “The End of an Era,” Swift read a note from Kelce during the “The Eras Tour” run. As cited in InStyle, he described meeting her as “being mesmerized and swept off my feet,” in that note. He later called it “the beginning of me meeting the love of my life,” there. For now, the Grammy winner and NFL star’s Valentine’s Day post stays cheeky and lighter with double meanings rolling.
