With the rise of adult entertainment, reports have confirmed that residents of California have spent a whopping $350 on OnlyFans throughout 2025 (via The New York Post). Los Angeles leads the count with $71.3 million.

California’s total spending amounts to a massive 13% of all OnlyFans spending nationwide. Though it is the biggest state in the country, the revenue OnlyFans generates in the state is quite high.

Barring Los Angeles, San Diego clocked in with about $21.3 million, San Francisco and San Jose, both with around $11.7 million, and Fresno with around $4.5 million.

In Los Angeles County, $105.5 million was spent in 2025, with 70% ($73.8 million) going toward direct messages and pay-per-view porn. This shows a trend of more active engagement over passive subscriptions.

OnlyFans creators usually offer options for both generic content and content tailored to the specific needs of the consumers. The latter earns more money. Meanwhile, typical subscription costs for specific creators usually vary from $4.99 to $49.99.

Many OnlyFans creators have revealed that they earned extreme amounts of money through the platform. Sophie Rain, one of the most popular creators on the platform, claims to have earned nearly $100 million from her account. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Piper Rockelle, who joined the platform on January 1, 2026, claimed to have earned nearly $3 million on her first day on the platform.

Many of these claims have been debated in the past, but it seems clear that United States residents spend a huge amount of money on the platform.
