NFL Unveils Super Bowl LXI 2027 Logo & Fans Have Thoughts

On February 9, the NFL unveiled the logo for Super Bowl LXI, which interestingly falls on Valentine’s Day in 2027. This year, the biggest sports event featured the ultimate showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, with the Seahawks emerging victorious. The day after the event, the NFL held a conference to pass the baton to next year’s host and to reveal the logo, location, and date of the upcoming Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LXI 2027 logo has fans talking

The day after Super Bowl 60, the NFL held a press conference to share details about its 2027 sports event. Super Bowl LXI will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on February 14, 2025. Therefore, this year’s Bay Area Host Committee passed on its baton to the Los Angeles committee. The NFL also took to X to showcase its new Super Bowl logo for 2027. The logo features the orange, yellow, and red color combination.

Since the logo reveal, fans have been theorizing about which teams could head to next year’s Super Bowl based on its aesthetic and have also shared their reactions in general. A fan wrote, “That shit looks like a wave with a sunset, THE MIAMI DOLPHINS ARE COMING BABY.” Another mentioned, “Manifesting a Buffalo Bills vs Detroit Lions Super Bowl LXI, where the @Lions win their first Lombardi Trophy in LA “Blue Wave.” A third user tweeted, “Y’all dropped the script already damn. The game was yesterday tf.” Other reactions also included, “Love seeing the next chapter already shaping up,” “They didn’t waste any time releasing that,” and “Clean, bold, very LA vibes.”

This year’s Super Bowl LX was headlined by six-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny. Ahead of the event, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer shared what it’s like to perform in Spanish at such a significant stage. In conversation with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans, he said, “I just want to be there. I’m just ready to do it. I want to feel it. I want people to watch it and enjoy it.”
