Kim Kardashian expressed her pride in her daughter, North West, in a new interview. The 45-year-old shares four children with ex-husband Kanye West, revealing that their oldest child is just like her father. North is preparing her debut album, The Elementary School Dropout, with West as executive producer.

Kim Kardashian gushed over daughter North West’s flourishing music career in a new interview with Complex. North recently performed with her father in Mexico and debuted a new song, “Piercing On My Hand.” Additionally, she also performed the tracks “Talking” and “Bomb.” Not only that, she boasts a massive 20.8 million followers on her joint TikTok account with her mother.
The All’s Fair alum revealed, “She loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn’t afraid if people will like it.” Kardashian admitted their oldest daughter was like her father in that she does not care about other people’s opinions.
The SKIMS founder dished, “She’s like her dad in that if she likes it, that’s enough for her, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions. I’m proud of her for that, for releasing music, having fun with it, and doing it her own way.”
Interestingly, Kardashian has briefly dabbled in a music career with the 2011 song “Jam (Turn It Up).” In 2024, the reality TV star recreated the holiday classic “Santa Baby,” but hasn’t been able to convert it into a profitable career. Instead, she focused on expanding her reality TV and acting careers, as well as other entrepreneurial ventures.
It seems like the ex-couple’s daughter, North, wants the best of both worlds and a multifaceted career like her famous parents. In a 2023 interview with i-D, North revealed that her favorite song by her father was “Through The Fire.” Additionally, she also detailed her career ambitions.
The budding artist shared, “When I’m, like, 13, I want to walk dogs to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”
