Travis Kelce has given an interesting update on Taylor Swift’s wedding reception. Kelce and Swift announced their engagement on August 26 last year, and it is rumored that the couple will host a summer wedding this year. While they both remain tight-lipped about their wedding plans, Kelce joked that Garage Beer will be served at their wedding reception. Notably, Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, co-own Garage Beer.
Travis Kelce gives details about wedding reception
Travis Kelce joked about the amount of Garage Beer that will be served at his and Taylor Swift’s wedding reception. On Wednesday, February 4, Kelce chatted with TMZ outside his New Heights podcast’s Super Bowl party. He hilariously disclosed that there will be tons of beer at his upcoming nuptials.
The reporter asked Kelce, “How many kegs of Garage Beer will be at that reception?” The Chiefs’ tight end quipped, “Man, I can’t even count that high.” For those unversed, the Kelce brothers became majority owners and operators of Garage Beer in June 2024.
Ever since the brothers got involved, the small Ohio-based company has become a whopping $200 million brand by late 2025 (via The Wall Street Journal). The Kelce brothers frequently promote Garage Beer on their New Heights podcast. Not only that, Jason Kelce debuted a “Stinky Garage Beer” commercial for the 2026 Super Bowl.
Kelce and Swift have maintained a dignified silence around their highly anticipated summer wedding. However, once in a while, they do share tidbits about their impending wedding. In the September 17 episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce hinted that he planned to hire a band over a DJ for their wedding.
He said, “I think we’re live music kind of people” (via PEOPLE). Back in September, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Kelce and Swift will keep their wedding out of the limelight.
The source said, “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”
